PURGE AND PROTECT!
How often do you purge your records? How often do you delete, clear, and double delete!? How protected are you online?
It is something that shouldn’t even have to be mentioned but I can’t tell you how many people I’ve talked to that don’t purge on a regular basis and don’t use online protection. And I can’t stress enough HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS!
WHY IT’S IMPORTANT
FOR THE PROTECTION OF YOUR LOVED ONES:
I am not an advocate for cheating. I have been on the other side of infidelity and of course, it is painful and heartbreaking. But let’s get real, a lot of you have wives or girlfriends. I have personally and have known many providers that have gotten the dreaded Wife Email and let me tell you, it is never pleasant and can lead to a great deal of drama and distress. I understand the need for gratification and variety. I understand the desire to step outside of the relationship at times. But if you are going to do this, do your loved ones a favor and DELETE, DELETE, DELETE!
FOR YOUR PROTECTION:
I love what I do more than anything and feel that anyone who visits a provider is making an empowered decision based on self-care and self-love. However, society often has a backward view of anything having to do with sexuality and self-empowerment. So while one day, I hope we can parade our sexual nature out into the world. For now, we are still repressed in many ways and need to take measures to keep our discretions behind closed doors and in virtual trashcans. So DELETE, DELETE, DELETE!
FOR MY PROTECTION:
I have worked very hard on my web presence, my social media accounts and my physical space. When proper measures are not taken on my part or on your part, my safety is at risk. I work very hard to make sure you are held in a safe, private place and one slip-up could destroy that for you and all of my clients. So if you care about the work that I do and want to continue to feel safe in my little haven, please DELETE, DELETE, DELETE!
HOW TO PURGE
DELETE IMMEDIATELY
After EVERY correspondence, please delete emails right away. Don’t wait till tomorrow. Don’t wait to do it once a quarter. Just do it right away. I know this can be hard for some people. With some, I have found that they like to keep emails, like some kind of momentum. It makes them feel like there is still a bond. Like keeping an old photo album. While I understand the sentiment and can relate to this desire…for the love of God and for my protection, let’s just let it go!
DOUBLE DELETE
With most email servers these days, for it to be gone-gone, it requires you to delete and then Empty Trash. So if you think you have done a good job by hitting the delete button, you have only halfway completed the job. So DELETE and then EMPTY TRASH.
CLEAR WEB BROWSER HISTORY
Every time you look at my site or the site of any other provider…clear your web browser history. Anyone that has access to your phone or computer can easily see what websites you have been visiting if this measure is not taken.
CLEAR MAPS HISTORY
After every session, make sure to clear your Maps history. Whether using Google Maps, Mapquest, Waze or any other mapping app, the history is stored for future suggestions, so steps need to be taken to clear the history.
HOW TO PROTECT
USE A PROTECTED EMAIL PROVIDER
Switch to an email provider that prioritizes Data Protection and Secure Messages like Protonmail, Tutanota, Mailfence, Disroot, or Barracuda. I know how convenient Gmail is when it is connected to all of the things you use on a daily basis. But at this point in cyber history, using a secure messaging provider is SO IMPORTANT. I would never use a provider like Gmail for sensitive matters, no provider you see should and neither should you! Most are free so there should be no excuse for switching over.
USE A SEPARATE EMAIL ADDRESS
If you already use a service like Protonmail, great! But let’s go a step further and create a separate account just for your special activities. If you are creating any sort of profile on sites like P411, it is important to use a separate email address. One that NO ONE knows about. Even after purging, I have heard of significant others somehow finding profiles linked to known email addresses.
USE A VPN
It can be kind of scary to think about, so most just choose not to think about it at all. But it is important to know that your internet service provider (ISP) can see and log all of your activity. Similarly, the government and various websites can track your activity by using your IP address, which can tell them a lot about you, including where you are and what pages you’re looking at. This is why it is essential to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network). I am very happy with the VPN that comes free with my Protonmail service but you can also check out ExpressVPN, SurfShark, NordVPN, or IPVanish.
TURN OFF LOCATION SERVICES
You have looked up directions to my place, great…now turn off your location services. I have heard of many spouses unknowingly track their significant others through their location services. Keep this off at all times unless absolutely necessary.
PRIVATE SEARCH ENGINES
Search engines are tracking data and logging information about you at all times. A VPN should assist with this but to go a step further, be sure to be browsing with a secure private search engine like DuckDuckGo, SwissCows, Gibiru, Qwant, or YaCy. These types of browsers do not collect cookies, IP addresses, or search history and therefore do not sell your data to any third-party companies. In addition, you may have better access to sites like mine which are often censored by search engines like Google.
So I think you get the picture now, right!? So let’s do it… right now…this very second… go… PURGE, PURGE, PURGE and PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT!
